Hastings Area Grief Coalition

The Hastings' Area Grief Coalition provides a caring environment of mutual support and education for those grieving the death of a significant person. In a respectful Christian atmosphere the coalition welcomes all people with opportunities to understand and express their on grief experience.

Group meetings are every Thursday, from 6:00 to 7:30 PM meeting are held at the Hastings' Senior Center 214 Ramsey Street

Understanding the grief process and the many emotions involved in working through your grief makes the journey less frightening.

Weekly topics promote reflection on your personal grief experience.

Guest speakers share their professional knowledge on grief and loss or their personal experience with the death of a loved one.

Following the speaker, small groups provide an opportunity to share grief experience and caring support with others experiencing a similar loss.

Anyone who has lost a significant person by death is invited to participate, as often as they desire.

Adults and teens are welcome

The sessions are free of charge.

Church affiliation not necessary.
