Zambia Africa - The Groves

Zambia, Africa - Delbert & Sandy Groves, is a United Methodist missionary with the General Board of Global Ministries and is based in Kitwe, Zambia. The Groves' ministries focus on church leadership, spiritual growth training and life skills training. Life skills builds personal energy transportation (PET) for handicapped persons; family farm development, carpentry, welding, publishing and printing, computer lab training, and video and sound studio production.

Mongolia Asia

Mongolia, Asia - Demberal Yadamtsoo, (Dembee) works and lives in UlaanBaatar, Mongolia. His mission welcomes homeless kids and under-privileged families with food, fellowship and opportunities to involve in sports and activities to keep kids safe. Part of that vision is to build a church building, where the Word of God can be preached and where he can serve others with food, clothing and warm winter shelter. Mongolia has many children that live in poverty and are literally living in the streets and in underground sewer tunnels.

Dembee learned about Jesus and His forgiveness and love for all people when he had the "privilege" to see the movie "Jesus". Dembee says "I want all my "kids" to give their heart to Jesus - my "kids" don't know about Jesus - they need Jesus!!

Slovakia - The Christie's

Slovakia, Europe - Ken & Karol Christie work with Integra Ventures in Slovakia. Integra's mission is to alleviate poverty, reduce unemployment and help transform communities by supporting the development of hundres of small businesses. Spiritual transformation and discipleship take place in the context of these businesses establishing "Islands of Integrity" throughout Eastern Europe.

Ukraine Eastern Europe

Ukraine, Eastern Europe - Pastor Vasiliy Oliynyk is working in the newly formed Christian Church in Uman. Ukraine is a country that has been under atheistic rule for the last 70 years. Our "sister church" in Uman, is a fledgling congregation started through summer bible camps offered to youth in the village of Uman2. Through this bible camp a brand new church has formed. Pastor Oliynyk and a small group of believers, mostly new Christians have been meeting and growing steadily since July 2006.

Bolivia South America

Bolivia, South America - Gordon & Ardell Graner are missionaries of the General Board of Global Ministries of the United Methodist Church working in solidarity with the Bolivian Evangelical Methodist Church, which was founded in the early 1900's. The Graners co-direct the Thiu Rancho Project, outside the city of Cochabamba.. Gordon works to rebuild and expand the retreat center, started an annual discipleship program for rural Methodist youth, and started a small dairy farm. Ardell has worked to establish a rural Montessori school for 3-5 yr old children from the local farming community, organized a library and after-school tutoring program, started a Sunday School and VBS program for children, and works with various agricultural programs raising guinea pigs and bees. "Our dream for Thiu Rancho is that it will be a sanctuary where our guests may deepen their faith relationship with God; that it will be a sign of love and hope for our neighbors who struggle daily to stay one step ahead of the desperation of poverty..."

Red Bird Mission

Red Bird Mission, Appalachian Center, Kentucky -USA - Ruth Wiertzema is a Diaconal Minister serving with the General Board of Global Ministries of the United Methodist Church. Ruth's primary interests are teaching and enabling persons to develop their potential. The ministry with rural Appalachian people provides ministry and training and teaching in Christian Education and church outreach in camps and workshops.

Slavic Ministries - to Ukraine from USA

Slavic Ministries - Maple Grove, MN USA

Victor & Lilliana Branitski founded a nonprofit ministry, Slavic Ministries, in 1995, which focuses primarily on bringing the Gospel to Ukraine, his former homeland.  Victor travels regularly to Ukraine with evangelistic outreaches and seminars.  Victor also travels extensively in the US as a public speaker.  He appears on the Global Message cable television program for Slavic audiences in Mn, as well as records for the Good News radio program broadcasting on Ukrainian State Radio and TV.  Victor has produced videos and audio tapes on discipleship and evangelism. With his many jobs, Victor also serves as pastor of Grace Slavic Church in Eagan, MN.
